The property, at 4401 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, is scheduled to open at the end of June as a franchise of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

Atlanta chef and restaurateur Archna Becker is developing Spice & Sky. Becker, known for North Indian food at Bhojanic, the restaurant she founded, is creating a “modern, eclectic menu of flavors from all over the world,” according to the release. The global restaurant and rooftop bar will serve happy hour, dinner and brunch.

“We will be using global flavors and spices to attract guests wanting more excitement for their palates,” Becker, who was hired as the hotel’s food and beverage management consultant and also recently introduced a retail market and new ghost kitchen concept, Tandoori Pizza and Wing Co., said in the release. “The ingredients will be familiar and approachable with flavor profiles ranging from Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian and more.”

The beverage menu will follow suit, offering signature craft cocktails that feature herbal-infused spirits as well as local beers on tap and an extensive wine list with selections from around the world.

“The dining experience at Spice & Sky offers a variety of flavorful dishes from comforting to adventurous,” Becker said. “Guests will enjoy made-from-scratch dishes like jerk chicken, bibimbap with Korean beef and an Indian meat-and-two plate. We will feature traditional fare such as burgers, fries, and chicken wings as well. I have also included some of my most beloved dishes from over the years.”

Spice & Sky’s menu is a blend of the expected and unexpected and will accommodate dietary restrictions including gluten-free and plant-based. The menu also will be available for room and poolside dining.

Designed by Dan Lemberg Architect and Cinda Walker of Design Associates, Inc., Spice & Sky’s interior features modern décor with a grey and red color scheme, wood accents, minimalist furnishings, and seating for 175 guests. The restaurant opens out to the rooftop bar, which seats an additional 120 people. Rooftop guests also can expect live music by a jazz trio, community events, and other curated experiences.

Downstairs, a banquet facility is available for private events of 200 guests. Catering menus can be curated for social and corporate events. The menus reflect the same cuisine served at the restaurant, offering a variety of flavorful options to fit every event need.

The completely custom Chamblee Holiday Inn & Suites is located near the Chamblee-Dunwoody exit on I-285. The new five-story hotel features 143 rooms, an indoor pool, and underground parking for up to 182 cars.
