The property, at 664 North Highland Avenue, used to be home to San Fransisco Coffee, which relocated a few doors down.

Blais’ hot dogs will still be available for consumption at the space as the restaurant will remain open. The only change will be in the property’s landlord if and when it sells.

Cityfeet has the property listed for sale at $1,250,000 which of course includes the “leased investment” of its current tenant, HD1.

  1. Any word on when they’ll open that rooftop deck there? I’d eat there more often if they had outdoor seating, especially with spring coming on. Must be a killer view.

  2. The rooftop deck has not been approved by the neighborhood, the NPU or the zoning department. They must get these approvals before any construction can take place. They do not yet have an Outdoor Dining Special Use permit which is the first step. I doubt there will be a rooftop deck anytime soon, the way it has gone so far.

    Ze deck is not approved!
Ze proper authorities must be notified!
Ze satisfaction of ze bureaucracy is of utmost importance!
    Ze deck is Verboten!

  4. San Fransisco? Never seen it spelled like that, but I like it, lol.
Seriously though, has any been to HD1 yet? I’m a fan of Blais’ and would love to know if this eatery is as good as it sounds.
