The SkyBar at SkyView will be managed by Complete Beverage Systems, Inc, serving drinks within the confines of the SkyView’s fenced area.

Founded in 2004 by David Covell, Complete Beverage Systems specializes in alcoholic beverage management for upscale event venues, hotels, historic venues, and government properties, among other things. Their list of clients include the Historic Pace House, Shepherd Center, and the Chastain Horse Park.

“We’re in the early stages of formulating our plan over at the Ferris wheel [sic] but I think it’s going to be a nice addition to the attraction,” Covell said in a text to What Now Atlanta.

Though the SkyView has concessions onsite, including a Chick-fil-A container restaurant, SkyBar brings the first alcoholic drinks to the Atlanta landmark.

  1. Chick-fil-A = Dan Cathy, the Christian family man.
Does he approve of the alcohol sales?
Wonder if he’s buddies with Jerry Falwell Jr.? Ya know the guy who’s wife was banging the poolboy while Jerry watched, and…

former Liberty University student says Becki Falwell, the wife of the university’s then-President Jerry Falwell Jr., jumped into bed with him and performed oral sex on him while he stayed over at the Falwell home after a band practice with her eldest son in 2008.

      1. It all actually sounds pretty hot, unless you wanna be sanctimonious, and tell everybody else how (not) to live their lives.

    1. Probably not a fair comparison. I will say ChickfilA is served at every sporting venue in Atlanta along side alcohol with no problems.

  2. Awesome! I know they have talked about this for some time and have done private events in the tent behind the wheel so it’s a nice addition. Especially given that we’re so behind the times, it’s not like you can just grab a drink at ParkBar and walk over to the wheel (facepalm).
