The filing, which lists a cost of construction of $1.5 million, describes site work and utility installation necessary for the construction of a seven-story commercial building.

It follows plans for an office building at the site being proposed more than five years ago, after the Garden Hills Shopping Center previously at the site succumbed to significant fire damage in 2013 and was demolished in 2015. The developer has yet to break ground on the Buckhead project since receiving special administrative permit approvals in 2016.

Brand Properties didn’t respond to request for comment.

Slated for 2815 – 2839 Peachtree Street, plans for the site have called for an approximately 135,000-square-foot office development with a four-level parking deck and retail space. The project would rise alongside locations of restaurants La Fonda Latina and Fellini’s Pizza. Ownership for both restaurants didn’t respond to request for comment on Brand Properties’ plans.

  1. Google Maps led you astray here. The site is on Peachtree Road not Peachtree Street. Important distinction if you are writing about Atlanta/Buckhead.

    1. Other than it changing between Midtown and Buckhead, why is it important? The street numbers don’t reset or anything. In my experience Street v. Road is used interchangeably.
