New Year’s Day 2025 is almost here and the world is ready to bid farewell to 2024. Grocery stores across Atlanta will be open for last-minute shopping for the celebrations. Walmart, Kroger, and Publix, are some of the stores that will be open to sell items that may be required to kick start the New Year’s.

Walmart
The largest supermarket chain, Walmart will have stores across the country open on New Year’s Day 2025. All the stores in Atlanta city and the greater Atlanta area will open. The grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, and delis shall serve customers.
Store Hours: Normal Business Hours. Typically 6 AM to 11 PM for supercenters and 6 AM to 9 PM for Neighborhood Markets.
Kroger
For those, Kroger is the go-to supermarket, they will find the shop open on New Year’s. The stores across Atlanta will be open to serve customers. Whether it be for groceries, medicines, or gas, Kroger will have it covered.

Whole Foods
Whole Foods stores will be open with modified hours on New Year’s Day. Shoppers will be able to get all that they need to make the first meals of the new year or just some snacks. Whole Foods will be a great place to shop if there are plans to eat healthy in 2025.

Store Hours: A few stores will open at 7 AM and the majority will be open at 8 AM. The closing time will be 10 PM for all stores.
Sprouts Farmers Market
The Pheonix, Arizona-based supermarket chain, Sprouts Farmers Market will have its doors open to Shoppers on New Year’s Day. There are several locations of the supermarket in Atlanta and they shall be open to customers.

BJ’s Wholesale Club
BJ’s Wholesale Club at East Point in the Metro Atlanta area will be open on January 1, 2025. Those who have a membership can visit the location of the store to shop on New Year’s Day.
