The wine store shuttered its Brookhaven location this past May.
Sherlock’s Wine Merchant plans to open a location at 1831 Peachtree Road NE in the Brookwood Hills neighborhood, according to plans filed with the City of Atlanta Wednesday.
An employee at the wine store’s headquarters at its Marietta location confirmed the opening in a telephone conversation with What Now Atlanta (WNA) Wednesday, but additional inquires seeking further comment were not immediately returned.
Sherlock’s has been selling wine, spirits, beer and cigars since the store opened its first location in Buckhead in 1986, according to its website.
Brookwood Hills will be the Sherlock’s fifth location after its Brookhaven location closed in May 2015.
Renovations on the 1,850-square-foot space will cost an estimated $40,000.
