The first, Bantam & Biddy, is set to open in Ansley Mall this October. The second yet-to-be-named restaurant, will open at Atlantic Station, Amy Wenk with the Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) first reported.

Doty’s new concept will open in the 2,500-square-foot space formerly occupied by the Grape at the mixed-use community.

“He’s a big fan of Midtown and a very big fan of Atlantic Station,” Mark Toro, managing partner of North American Properties, the real estate firm that owns and manages the retail shops and restaurants at Atlantic Station, told the ABC in an interview.

Doty plans on opening his wood-grilled chicken concept at Atlantic Station later this year, according to the report.

  1. I love how everything is a “concept.” So high brow. That’s how they are going to justify charging $15 for chicken that I could get at Publix? This better be good….

  2. The Bantam + Biddy opened Monday, Oct. 29th for dinner. They are still nailing down the details but the food was good and the decor is pleasant. A bit noisy, but many midtown restaurants are this way. I hope this place takes off, Ansley Mall area needs casual dining that serves high quality food.
