O’Neal, alongside Papa John’s CEO Steve Ritchie, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official grand reopening of the restaurant, at 990 State Street NW, on the Georgia Tech campus.
O’Neal in March announced his new position as a member of the company’s board of directors, spokesperson, and investor in nine Atlanta Papa John’s locations.
Saturday’s event, slated to begin at noon, will include an all-day-long block party at the flagship store.
The event is open to the public and will include free pizza, games, and entertainment.
Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Rapper Domani Harris, and V-103 DJ Greg Street are among the star-studded list of guests slated to attend the event.

Historic Shop???
That Krispy Kreme opened on Ponce in 1965 and featured a 24-hour drive-thru window. It was also the only kosher-certified Krispy Kreme location within the city of Atlanta. So it was fairly old… so technically historic. Krispy Kreme was founded in 1937 in NC… so likely there are more historic ones.
I would like to work there sign me up!!!
Reportedly it will be drive thru only, no walk up service.
Yay! This is exciting news!
