It is the sixth Shack in the Atlanta area, following the recently debuted Alpharetta location, Old Fourth Ward, Perimeter Mall, Buckhead, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The Piedmont Park Shack will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and features outdoor dining only with an expansive, canopied patio space. In a company first, this location also boasts a “Shack Track Walk-up Window,” which gives guests the ability to pre-order via the Shack App and pick up their food at the window to enjoy on the patio or at the park. Shack Track is Shake Shack’s digital pre-ordering and fulfillment experience. Guests can also place orders to-go inside of the Shack or preorder via app and web for pickup on the designated shelf inside.

“Our Piedmont Park location takes us back to our roots,” Andrew McCaughan, chief development officer of Shake Shack, said. “This Shack is situated on the front door of Piedmont Park and focuses on digital convenience and to-go orders so that our guests can enjoy our signature burgers and shakes in the beautiful park or our outdoor patio. Shake Shack was born in Madison Square Park in New York City in an effort to rebuild the park, so opening in Piedmont feels just like home.”

The Piedmont Park Shack features all the classics, including ShackBurger, Chicken Shack, crinkle-cut fries, and hand-spun shakes plus seasonal lemonade Blood Orange Citrusade. The Piedmont Park Shack also offers dog-friendly treats including Bag O’ Bones, a doggie bag of five ShackBurger dog biscuits made by NYC’s Bocce’s Bakery and Poochinis, vanilla custard topped with ShackBurger dog biscuits.

For the Piedmont Park opening and as part of their larger mission to “stand for something good,” Shake Shack will donate a dollar for every sandwich sold on Thursday, April 28, and Friday, April 29, to local partner and neighbor Piedmont Park Conservancy, a nonprofit working with the City of Atlanta to enhance and preserve Piedmont Park as an urban greenspace and as a cultural and recreational resource that enriches life for all who visit.

Additionally, the Piedmont Park Shake Shack location is hiring for all levels. Those interested can apply in person or online.
