Shake Shack is planning a location at the dining and entertainment destination, according to Tomorrow’s News Today. The fast-casual burger chain would be replacing the closing Wahlburgers at 455 Legends Place.

This would be Georgia’s ninth location of Shake Shack, which can also be found in West Midtown, the Old Fourth Ward, Buckhead and more.

Shake Shack began as a hot dog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park in 2001 followed by a permanent kiosk at the park in 2004. It now has more than 500 locations. In addition to hot dogs, the menu includes burgers, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, shakes and frozen custard.

The company recently announced its Q3 2024 financial results, which saw a total revenue of $316.9 million, up 14.7 percent versus 2023. The company opened eight new corporate-operated stores, but also closed several underperforming ones.

The Battery is a mixed-use development in Cobb County anchored by Truist Park. Wahlburgers opened at the development in 2017. The location has been removed from the Wahlburgers site map.

The site is at the corner of Battery Avenue SE and Heritage Court SE, near the PH’EAST food hall, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams and Park Bench.
