The concept pairs low-impact, functional movement with resistance equipment.

Clo Caesar is behind the upcoming location. With a lifelong passion for health and fitness, she was drawn to Pvolve after many years of distance running put a strain on her body, and she was looking for an effective workout that would have less impact.

“I was looking for different fitness routines and trying to figure out what I’d like to do that was more low impact on my body,” she told What Now Atlanta.

She tried a few different things – yoga, pilates, “whatever wasn’t too strenuous on my body.”

So Caesar connects with the mission of the brand. She knew she wanted to open her own fitness business and decided to embark on that entrepreneurial chapter with Pvolve.

Caesar said the studio will be at The Krog District, a site she’s excited about due to its location right along the BeltLine. She would ideally like it to be open by next spring or early summer.

“I hope that people come and work out with me,” she said.

This will be Atlanta’s second Pvolve studio. The first made its debut at the Westside Provisions District.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our Atlanta footprint with the introduction of our second studio location,” Pvolve President Julie Cartwright said in a statement. “It’s an exciting time for the Pvolve brand and Atlanta is already showing success with our first location. Having Clo, a passionate wellness and fitness enthusiast, at the helm will no doubt make this studio a success.”

Pvolve was founded in 2017 with its first location in New York City, and it now has locations across the U.S. Actress Jennifer Aniston officially partnered with Pvolve in 2023, growing the brand’s name even further.

The brand made headlines recently after announcing the results of a University of Minnesota Clinical Study, which looked at the impacts of Pvolve on chronic lower back pain. This marks the third clinical study that Pvolve has taken part in over the last several years.

In addition to its brick-and-mortar studios, Pvolve also offers a streaming membership offering on-demand and live virtual classes.
