Puttshack, the tech-infused mini golf experience with food and drink, Wednesday announced that it has signed a lease at High Street, the $2 billion, 36-acre, mixed-use development in Central Perimeter, with plans to open in 2023. This announcement follows the debut of Puttshack’s first U.S. location in Atlanta’s The Interlock, which opened in April 2021. Future locations have also been announced for Oak Brook (Chicago), Miami, Boston, Houston, Nashville, and Scottsdale.

“Our first ever location in the U.S., Puttshack Atlanta, continues to exceed all expectations,” Joe Vrankin, CEO of Puttshack, said in the announcement. “We’re excited to bring Puttshack to another vibrant Atlanta neighborhood as soon as possible.”

As the first anchor tenant to be announced for High Street, the more than 26,000 square-foot Puttshack space will feature four custom-made, tech-driven, mini-golf courses. They are powered by the brand’s patented “Trackaball” technology, which is integrated throughout the entire game experience, including automated scoring, bonus points opportunities, interactive games at each hole, and more. The gameplay is also matched by a dining menu and full cocktail bar.

High Street is being developed by national real estate developer, owner and operator GID. The first phase of the project will break ground this year and includes 150,000 square feet of entertainment-driven retail and restaurants, approximately 600 rental apartments, 90,000 square feet of loft office, and 222,000 square feet of existing office space.

“Our vision for High Street is to deliver a highly connected cosmopolitan oasis in Atlanta’s thriving Central Perimeter market that features an incredible mix of entertainment, shopping and dining,” Jim Linsley, President of GID Development Group, said in the release. “Puttshack at High Street is delivering on that vision and will bring our community the types of new and exciting experiences they crave, all while being seamlessly integrated within the project’s energetic and vibrant mixed-use environment. We’re looking forward to breaking ground on High Street’s first phase this year, ultimately creating the most dynamic retail and entertainment experience in metro Atlanta.”

High Street is located at the intersection of Perimeter Center Parkway and Hammond Drive, is just steps away from the Dunwoody MARTA Station. Retail leasing for High Street is being led by Molly Morgan and Allie Spangler with JLL’s boutique agency leasing team, 10Twelve.

“We are being very purposeful in selecting best-in-class retail, restaurant and entertainment brands like Puttshack to open concepts at High Street,” Morgan said. “The mix of experiences here will be unique to the market and create an exceptional new gathering place for the community to come together and shop, dine and play.”
