Alcohol permits have been filed for a gourmet marketplace to come to north Atlanta.
Atlanta-based Savi Provisions, planned to open its AMLI Lenox franchise, at 3478 Lakeside Drive, this spring but the expansion doesn’t appear to be stopping there.
While the exact date has not been determined, another Savi Provisions is on its way for the Wildwood neighborhood in Buckhead, at 1193 Collier Rd. NW.
Owner Moe Hasni didn’t expect the new location to open until later in the summer.
A neighborhood destination for locally-sourced gourmet and organic foods, fine wines and spirits, Savi Provisions describes itself as the nostalgic purveyor of once forgotten generations.
It aims to provide a high-end and gourmet, wholesome and healthy food and market experience combined with Atlanta’s need for convenience within their neighborhoods.
With gourmet gift baskets with handwritten notes and ribbons attached, customers can find groceries, alcohol, fun and more at their local Savi Provisions.
The Buckhead location carries a carefully curated collection of spirits and fine wines in the area. It carries over 400 labels of beer from around the world and tasting room for parties of up to 60 guests for private parties and wine tastings.
With other locations in Midtown, at 988 Peachtree St. NE, Inman Park, at 287 Elizabeth St. NE, Pharr Road, at 308 Pharr Road, Brookhaven, at 1388 Dresden Dr. and more, Savi Provisions continues to grow in the Atlanta-area.
The new business on Collier Road recently applied for a liquor license with the city as a specialty food shop that retails beer and wine.
Hasni was excited to open a new location in the Buckhead-area.
“The thing is we just applied for licenses so we want to receive those first,” he said.
He added that the new business would be similar to Savi’s other locations throughout the city. Located in the Wildwood neighborhood of Buckhead, Savi Provisions will be next to Eleven85 Apartments just off I-75.
