Atlanta-based, family-owned neighborhood specialty market Savi Provisions is expanding to West Midtown with a location in the M Street apartments, at 950 Marietta Street, according to a press release Monday. It will open in January 2021. M Street sits across from Rock Steady which replaced Figo Pasta in recent years.
“After over a decade of expansion throughout Atlanta, we look forward to finally joining the West Midtown district to provide its community members with access to high-quality food and drink in a welcoming, neighborly atmosphere,” Paul Nair, the founder of Savi Provisions, said in the release.
Out of its new space, residents can expect locally-sourced produce, charcuterie options, specialty coffee and teas, a bakery, novelty desserts, food items, and a “robust collection” of “highly sought after” wines and artisan beers. In addition to the groceries, Savi Provisions will serve chef-driven, prepared foods (think savory sandwiches, breakfast offerings, wraps, and salads) as well as a variety of” health-conscious, dietary friendly, made-to-order meal options.” The space will also house a walk-up coffee bar and specialty juice bar.
Online ordering, delivery and take-out will be available, along with a revolving schedule of food and wine tastings, and event capabilities. Savi is also currently offering new gift basket delivery ahead of the holiday season, with a variety of gift baskets featuring themed assortments of gourmet food, drinks, treats, mugs, and skincare products.
At least two additional Savi Provisions are in the works in The Battery Atlanta and in Buckhead. What Now Atlanta also uncovered plans for what would be the first for the growing specialty market chain — an outpost that includes a gas station.
