Savi Provisions in Decatur is now open as of Friday, according to a press release Tuesday.
Occupying a 4,200-square-foot space formerly home to Cook’s Warehouse, the new Savi Provisions offers a 1,000-square-foot spirit section, prepared foods, and prepared grab-n-go meals.
Guests can also order from a menu and enjoy a meal on-site (complimentary parking) or take it with them.
“This location has a heavier focus on food service and prepared items such as grain bowls and made-to-order salads,” Paul Nair, CEO and founder of Savi Provisions, said in the release.
“We are excited about our deli counter and sidewalk style seating along Ponce. Plus, our wine, beer and spirits set this location apart from our other Savi stores.”
The market offers more grocery items to choose from than current locations and the Savi menu includes breakfast options such as omelets, Chia Seed bowls, biscuits, bagels, and croissants, as well as breakfast burritos, sandwiches and weekend brunch.
A few lunch highlights include the Quinoa Super Food Bowl, a Simple Salad and Wild Mushroom Tart, and tempting sandwiches such as a grilled cheese with three cheeses on sourdough bread with tomato soup and a shaved prime rib French Dip complete with horseradish mayo and porcini au jus on French bread.
Fine wines, artisan beers, and spirits are also available for off-premise consumption.
The market retails over 2,000 SKU of wines and beers all hand-selected from domestic and international winemakers and local, national and international craft beers.
Savi Provisions Decatur, at 180 Ponce de Leon Road, is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm.
