Ruscello, a new project from Buck’s Sports Barn and IQ Fitness owner Paul Rodgers, is expected to open at 2295 Peachtree Road, per permit application filed with the City of Atlanta. The work description on the permit notes renovations will be made to transform the existing space into a new retail store.
We reached out to Rodgers who confirmed the project, and though he said it’s too soon to share much about Ruscello just yet, he described the project as a “market café.”
Construction estimated at $50,000 includes renovations to the existing bathroom to meet ADA requirements, new mechanical and electrical work, and a new commercial kitchen. Rodgers shared the project is still at least six months out from opening.
Rodgers operates both Buck’s Sports Barn and IQ Fitness at 2303-B Peachtree Road. Buck’s, a multi-purpose event space, specializes in themed, circus, and costume parties for children. Rodgers, a trainer and graduate of The Fitness Institute, has been a member of the American Culinary Association.
