The self-described 21st-century diner, Roshambo, will soon bring its dream to fruition, according to a building permit that was filed on Friday with the City of Atlanta.
Construction for the all-day diner is projected to run roughly $1,500,000 for the 3,700 square-foot restaurant, at 2355 Peachtree St NE, in space formerly home to Another Broken Egg Cafe.
Atlanta-based Chaote Construction Company will be the contractor, and Phase 5 Creative, the architect. Per the application, renovations will include new partitions, finishes, flooring, walls and mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
Roshambo will be a modern, upscale diner serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with full bar service. The theme of the restaurant centers around roshambo, widely known as the game “rock, paper, scissors,” which represents each meal of the day.
Roshambo is expected to open this summer inside Branch Properties’ Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, as previously reported by What Now Atlanta.
“Peachtree Battle is a fixture in the Buckhead community, and it’s important to provide the surrounding residents and daytime workers with a fresh and dynamic tenant mix,” said Branch Partner Terry Hampel in a press release earlier this year. “Due to its prime location, space at Peachtree Battle doesn’t stay vacant for long, and we’re always looking for opportunities to bring the best selection of businesses to the center. We know the community is craving exciting and convenient dining experiences, and this latest group of tenants successfully answers this demand.”
Unsukay Restaurants is the mastermind behind the diner, bringing forth yet another food spot to satiate appetites in Atlanta; the group also owns Muss & Turner’s, Local Three, and MTH Pizza.
