Rhinoceros Boutique, located at the Shops Around Lenox, has had a successful run since its grand opening in 2008. Owned and operated by French native Nathalie Welch, success has led to the need for expansion.
With Blue Genes long gone and after Bill Hallman, Fab’rik and Swank finalize their claimed space, there remains one final spot.
The space that made up most of the Women’s store at Blue Genes will now be the home of the Rhinoceros Boutique. Expected to relocate and open within the next month, have patience as moving a rhinoceros has never been an easy feat.
Considering the abundance of available mercantile and office square footage in Buckhead, it is fascinating how within the past few months alone, Shops Around Lenox has turned from thin sidekick to beefy hero. HW Properties must be enticing business owners with an irresistible offer to fill their (what was becoming an embarrassment of a) space.

I love all those boutiques. Shops Around Lenox is becoming a very cool retail destination. I look forward to seeing what else these HW Properties guys do with the property. Its such a unique location
I like Shops Around Lenox too, but I wish it had more of an urban feel and distiguished itself from your average strip mall with a big surface parking lot. One way they could accomplish this is to demolish the former Tower Records/CompUSA, build a deck for parking, and turn the existing parking lot into a promenade with additional shops fronting the Lenox Square side of the road.
That would be cool. Either way I hope to see other interesting boutiques flock to this shopping center. I would think the bigtime fashionista retailers would rather be at Shops Around Lenox versus the mall. Can’t wait to see what else happens there
