Intown Golf Club, a membership-by-invite-only social club for golf lovers, could be coming to Buckhead by fall 2020 and later to Midtown, according to the company’s website.
The flagship location would be housed in the former USAA Financial Center and Retro Fitness spaces in Buckhead.
Intown Golf Club is billed as a “convenient, efficient, and weather-proof setting where you can play 18 holes in 45 minutes, no matter the weather.”
It is listed in the investment portfolio for Atlanta Ventures which invests in early-stage subscription companies with less than $1 million in annual occurring revenue and less than $1 million in previous seed capital.
Inside, Trackman golf simulators would offer members an indoor golf experience and premium amenities include a full-service locker room and steam room, conference and co-working space, and hand-crafted small plates and cocktails.
Other amenities include a club rental and bag storage, valet and bag drop, access to green grass courses, and an outdoor terrace and putting green.
Plans also call for a full-time PGA golf instructor on staff as well as club fitting program, golf fitness training, and complimentary group instruction, and social events.
Representatives from Intown Golf Club did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
