Buckhead luxury hotel to renovate lobby, front office, restaurant and bar
JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead, the luxury hotel connected to Lenox Square Mall and adjacent to Marta, will begin renovations to their common spaces in mid June, according to highly placed Marriott insiders.

Building permits filed with the city mid April confirm the renovations.
The Buckhead luxury hotel at 3300 Lenox Road estimates a $9 million property renovation to be completed by late September, Marriott insiders shared with What Now Atlanta Thursday.
The hotel, which boasts 371 guestrooms and 18,000 square feet of meeting space, will renovate their existing restaurant, lobby, corridors and meeting space.

Good idea! That hotel was stuck in 1988.
Who is the designer or design firm to be credited for these renderings?
Agreed. It’s got a pretty decent amount of meeting center space, hosts a lot of conferences, and could use an upgrade in a major way.
Will they continue to provide access to Lenox through the building?

This was originally the Intercontinental Hotel when it first opened. After 2 weeks it turned into the JW Marriott. Just a tidbit of history.
