The Allen Morris Company last week released new renderings for what the lobby and building amenities for Star Metals Offices, the commercial office component of the Star Metals development, could look like.
Star Metals Offices is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by the end of 2020, at 1055 Howell Mill Road.
Atlanta-based Square Feet Studio is behind the design of its interior areas working in tangent with Oppenheim Architecture, the firm overseeing the design of the project as a whole.
“Both the lobby’s and amenities interior design style will be iconic but approachable, incorporating industrial elements representative of the Westside’s history, such as poured concrete and steel, but softened with luxurious fabrics, leather, and woods, all to create a timeless effect,” according to a press release Friday.
“The design does not just imitate the past, but reinterprets it in a new way, further connecting Star Metals to the neighborhood, furthering the iconic Oppenheim Architecture design of the project as a whole.”
The 10,000-square-foot amenity level located on the building’s seventh floor, features an outdoor terrace for shared collaborations and events, along with a boardroom, conference room, covered outdoor seating, as well as a bar and catering kitchen for special events.
Other amenities include a fitness center, a bicycle storage room, a locker room with shower facilities, and a rooftop restaurant and bar.
The 14-story, Class ‘A’ LEED-certified office tower totals 260,000 square feet, including 30,000 square feet of retail and restaurants.
Alongside the office building, Star Metals Hotel, a 166-room boutique hotel, is expected to break ground in 2020.
The 4.75-acre Star Metals project will also include a multifamily residential tower with 409 units and ground floor retail, opening in July 2020.
