Caravaca Market is moving forward with plans to open in The Trace, a new mixed-use development in Midtown, SRS Real Estate Partners (SRS), the company leasing the project, Wednesday announced in a press release.
The restaurant concept, from chef and TV Host Harry Pagancoss, should open Spring 2017 in a 5,981 square feet space, complete with an “urban market,” a bakery and cafe (Harry Bakes), wine shop, and craft beer bar.
“Caravaca Market will provide an exciting urban market concept which is lacking in Midtown,” Lily H. Heimburger, vice president of SRS’ Atlanta office, said in the release.
“The European-style restaurant will not only enhance amenities at The Trace but also become a destination to the surrounding neighborhoods.”
The Trace is located at 780 Peachtree Street on the southwest corner of Peachtree and 5th streets. The residential tower will consist of 12 stories and will include 290 upscale apartment units along with the additional restaurant space. The new mixed-use development is set to complete construction in fall 2016 and is being constructed by developer JLB Partners.
