Frost Restaurant and Bar, currently in permitting with the City of Atlanta, will replace Studio 281 at 281 Peters Street.

It will be the first restaurant for Frost but her second Atlanta business.

The Renaissance woman owns the retail brand Pressed in Phipps Plaza.

Pressed, which does most of its business through e-commerce, also has a storefront in Houston, Texas.

Expect a “cool, hip spot to eat and drink,” a company rep Friday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.

Frost Restaurant and Bar is aiming for a June 2019 opening but “it’s still so early we don’t have an exact time frame.”

As with most new restaurants, the timeline will be finalized after permits are issued by the City.

Frost’s restaurant is opening near Old Lady Gang, owned by good friend Kandi Burruss.
