Chicago company threatens Midtown restaurant with trademark infringement
Quattro Italian restaurant is now ParQ (pronounced “park”).
Owner Rob Campbell told What Now Atlanta they had to change the restaurant’s name because a “Chicago based company approached us” a few months ago threatening trademark infringement.
“The trademark rights to Quattro is owned by a Chicago company,” said Campbell. “We did our due diligence and registered ParQ with the state of Georgia.”
Campbell said that renaming the restaurant ParQ was an easy decision.
As for how they decided on the name, follow if you can: patrons were already calling Quattro ‘Q’, according to Campell, who added since the restaurant is located by Piedmont Park, “spelling Park with a ‘Q’ made sense.”
Fan’s of the Midtown eatery, rest assured the only change the restaurant has made is with the name. Nothing has changed with the concept– the menu, look and feel are still the same.
Expect a new marquee on the space in the next few weeks, according to Campbell.

too bad they couldn’t change the servers while they were at it! great food, great patio but slow s..l..o..w….w.w.w.w service!
Could the Chicago company get them to improve service attentiveness/service times, also?
