The first, currently seeking various construction bids, will open in Sandy Springs’s Perimeter Town Center shopping center.

It will replace Gigi Cupcakes, at 6115 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, and is expected to open Q1 of 2019.

“When we began to research different franchise opportunities, we were looking for a unique concept with a rich tradition that had the ability to bring people together,” Ottaviano said in an announcement late-2018.

“We found our perfect fit with Primo Hoagies. Nothing beats serving up a classic Italian staple that anyone can enjoy.”

Ottaviano and his team could open at least two additional locations in the Atlanta-area.

Real estate for store two and three are being scouted.

“The Atlanta market will soon be able to take a bite into our tradition and become part of the buzz that has taken over the East Coast since the start of the company,” Adam Biedenbender, vice president of development at Primo Hoagies, said in the announcement.

“We can’t wait to see the lines form at Brian’s store.”

  1. This is amazing news! Their Chicken Diablo is fantastic. This only question is, where are they going to source the rolls? That will be key.

  2. Nice! I can’t wait for a legit hoagie!! So many good options, I could seriously eat my way through the Primo menu.

  3. I am thrilled to have Primo coming to Atlanta, we go to their Wayne, PA location a couple times a year when visiting. EXCELLENT hoagies:)
