Old Fourth Ward favorite 4th & Swift announced in a press release Tuesday plans to partner with Ponce City Market (PCM) for a “preview dinner series” featuring the mixed-use project’s forthcoming food hall eateries.

Kicking off Tuesday, April 21, and continuing throughout the spring, executive chef and owner Jay Swift will welcome soon-to-be neighbors, Guy Wong of Ton Ton, Anne Quatrano of Dub’s Fish Camp, Sean Brock of Minero, Meherwan Irani of his yet unnamed Indian street food concept and Linton Hopkins of Hop’s Chicken, into 4th & Swift for a series of food events featuring sneak previews of each chef’s forthcoming PCM concept.

“As a business owner in the Old Fourth Ward since 2008, I’m excited to see the neighborhood grow with the opening of Ponce City Market,” Swift said in the prepared statement.

“4th & Swift welcomes our new neighbors-to-be with open arms and we look forward to collaborating with these renowned chefs before they open to the public and after.”

The preview series will celebrate the opening of PCM’s Central Food Hall allowing these guest chefs to take over 4th & Swift’s kitchen from 7 to 9 p.m., and prepare a sampling of dishes highlighting each concept’s signature cuisine while Swift and his team provide hors d’oeuvres and craft cocktails.

Here’s the lineup:

Japanese Ramen and Yakitori with Guy Wong
The latest concept from Atlanta restaurateur Guy Wong of Miso Izakaya and newly opened Le Fat on the Westside, Ton Ton will feature a menu of Japanese ramen, yakitori, sushi and noodles and a Japanese market. The preview dinner on Tuesday, April 21, Wong will provide guests a taste from Ton Ton’s debut menu. Tickets to the dinner can be purchased here.

A First Bite of Dub’s Fish Camp with Anne Quatrano
From James Beard Award-winning chef Anne Quatrano, comes Dub’s Fish Camp, a casual-style fish shack set to open later this spring in the Food Hall. The stall will feature a raw shell counter, house made sandwiches and steamed fish bowls. On Tuesday, April 28, guests are invited to be the first to taste specialties from Dub’s Fish Camp. An Exclusive Taste of Minero with Sean Brock
Neighborhood Dining Group will soon introduce Atlantans to Minero, its Charleston, S.C.-based casual Mexican concept featuring a menu packed with fresh Mexican spices, chili peppers, homemade salsas, fresh tortillas and beans. On Tuesday, May 12, James Beard Award-winning executive chef and partner, Sean Brock will turn 4th & Swift’s kitchen into a Mexican cocina, serving signature tastes from Minero’s menu. A Night of Indian Street Food with Meherwan Irani
Meherwan Irani, James Beard Award-nominated chef and founder of Chai Pani in Decatur, Ga. and Asheville, N.C., will open an eagerly anticipated new Indian street food concept later this season at Ponce City Market. Guests at Irani’s preview dinner on Tuesday, May 19, can expect a meal inspired by the forthcoming restaurant. Tickets to the dinner can be purchased here.

Hop’s Chicken and Champagne on the Patio with Linton Hopkins
On Tuesday, May 26, James Beard Award-winning chef Linton Hopkins will take over the 4th & Swift patio, giving a sneak peak of his newly announced Hop’s Chicken. The menu at Hop’s will feature Springer Mountain chicken, fried to order, from-scratch biscuits, and a selection of sides including coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and seasonal salads. Guests will enjoy a taste of what’s to come while overlooking the property from across the street. Tickets to the dinner can be purchased here.

Tickets to each dinner cost $50 per person, including dinner and one cocktail. Ten percent of proceeds will be donated to The Giving Kitchen and Historic Fourth Ward Park Conservancy.
