“We’re hoping to get in there next month,” Owner Nick Melvin told What Now Atlanta Tuesday in a telephone interview. “Definitely sometime in April. Until then we will continue to be a pop-up.”

Poco Loco came onto the scene early last year as Melvin worked out of his own home kitchen. He said he wanted the new space to continue to have a warm, inviting, and small business feel.

“We’re moving from a pop up to a place that used to be a home so I feel fortunate to be able to build upon the bones of that space,” he said.

Famous for its breakfast burritos, the breakfast and lunch spot will have homemade tortillas, meats by the pound, and plenty of locally sourced food for customers to go home and make their own breakfast burritos with.

“We’re still getting our legs under us but we’re shooting to be open Thursday to Sunday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.,” Melvin said.
