With a location in Sandy Springs since December 2017, Pontoon plans to debut in Tucker in fall 2021.
The 33,000 square-foot facility will house a taproom, private event space, and production facility.
“Continuing the ‘Pontoon Lifestyle’ with an appreciation for all things outdoors, the close proximity to Stone Mountain will play a major factor in the interior décor of this two-story space,” according to the release.
Pontoon Tucker will include the installation of a five-vessel automated 30-barrel Alpha Brewing Ops brewhouse as well as a five-barrel pilot system.
The Sandy Springs production facility will continue to operate and give Pontoon Brewing the opportunity to expand its experimental wild ale programs, barrel-aged programs, and more.
“We’re really excited to continue to grow and expand Pontoon Brewing and the Pontoon Lifestyle throughout Georgia and the southeast,” Sean O’Keefe and Marcus Powers, the owners of Pontoon, said in a joint statement. “This expansion to Tucker is a perfect fit. We’ll have a taproom with a Tucker-specific feel to it to bring our brand of fun and exciting beers to an entirely new area of Georgia and we’ll also have a much larger production area to allow us to build on our distribution successes both inside and outside of Georgia. We feel like our radical approach to brewing will bring something truly unique to Tucker and the growing craft brewing scene there.”

I have been to Savannah several years ago and was able to stay at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District then fall in love with the place for the first time. I just searched for hotels in savannah ga at https://www.visitsavannah.com/hotels-motels and have found the best I’ve ever been. I am happy it was already recovering from the pandemic hit.
