Jamestown, the mixed-use project’s developer, submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Tuesday for commercial alterations to space W 114 for a Lou Lou Boutique.

An estimated $120,000 will be spent readying the 1,195-square-foot space for the new store.

This is only the second known fashion retailer for the now-opened Old Fourth Ward redevelopment of City Hall East. The first, Michael Stars, was announced in September shortly after the development officially open its doors to the public in August.

Lou Lou, a women’s jewelry and accessories boutique, got its start in Virginia and has nineteen locations, according to the fashion retailer’s website.

Including its PCM store, Lou Lou is opening four additional boutiques around the country.

Which fashion retailer(s) are you hopeful will open at PCM? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

  1. Really not all that impressed with the retailers so far. Maybe because i’m not a huge fan of the development in the first place. Seems as if they took a piece of the Provisions at Westside, Emory, and other developments and placed the same look and feel at in Ponce City Market. I’ll visit to support tho.

You do realize that Jamestown manages White Provisions as well? Not sure where you’re getting the Emory and other developments comparison because there isn’t anything else in this city when it comes to the history of the old Sears building, access to the BeltLine/future transit, and scale of authenticity of maintaining the character of the giant building. They’ve only announced a small sliver of the retailers for this project so I’m pretty sure you’re in for a treat over the next few months of accouncements.

BTW Jamestown hinted at some major announcements this November for the retail.

    1. Yep. I’m very familiar with Jamestown Properties’ development. I wasn’t referring to the history of Sears and it wasn’t a PCM “versus” any other development. Just stating my opinion of the development, thus far. And, to me, it still reminds me of Emory and all the others I named; typical and expected. Nothing wrong with that, I’m just and still not a huge fan.
