“We have always been one company under common ownership, but as we have grown to cover markets across the Sun Belt, we recognized the advantages of operating under one brand with a renewed purpose,” Steven Shores, CEO and president of RangeWater, said in a press release Wednesday.

This year marked the company’s most active year since its inception in 2006 with deal volume including four acquisitions and 13 developments.

The company also explored new product types this year, including its first build-to-rent community of townhomes.

“Our first build-to-rent townhomes will attract millennials who prefer to rent and desire more space as they start families,” Shores said.

“We’re also expanding our Olea brand which caters to empty nesters who are looking for a place to live that is fun, social, and free from homeowner responsibility.”

In addition to Atlanta, the company intends to remain active in 10 of the top 15 cities listed for either job growth or total jobs added, including Austin, Nashville, Orlando, Charlotte, West Palm Beach, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, and Houston.

One of Pollack Shores’ most notable developments in recent years was Home at The Battery Atlanta which has since been sold to Cortland (pictured above).

It was managed by Matrix.
