The fast-casual chain is situated in the Parkview on Peachtree development, at 5070 Peachtree Boulevard.

Starting at 11 a.m., the first 50 guests will get free bowls.

There will also be “giveaways, apparel, and more.”

It is the second Playa Bowls in the state of Georgia joining a location that opened earlier this year in Studioplex’s SPX Alley.

Both of the Atlanta-area Playa Bowls are owned and operated by husband and wife Johnny and Kacy McCall.

“Eating healthy can be fun, especially in Playa Bowls’ laid back atmosphere and beachy vibe,” the McCalls in an email Wednesday told What Now Atlanta.

“We look forward to growing our brand in the City and continuing to serve our community every day.”

On the menu are acai and superfruit bowls, smoothies and juices.

There are also soups and “grab-and-go snacks.”

“The health benefits of Acai and pitaya are spreading quickly in Atlanta and we are proud that our acai comes to us straight from Brazil fresh and never frozen,” the McCalls said.

“We don’t cut ours with apple juice, sugar, and pineapple. We use pure acai pulp.”

Fruits and vegetables are delivered daily, seven days a week to make juices and bowls to order.

The company was founded in 2014 in New Jersey where most of its 50-plus locations are situated.
