Opening in the AMLI Decatur development, at 122 W Trinity Pl., the upcoming PlantHouse will be the fourth location for the growing company, joining outposts in Virginia and North Carolina. What Now Atlanta (WNA) Preferred Partner Todd Semrau represented the landlord in the transaction through Oakhurst Realty Group.

PlantHouse hosts classes, markets, and walk-ins for its do-it-yourself terrarium workshops daily, and retails “premium” plants.

“When you think of seeing a plant in wild you may think in its natural habitat like the tropics,” Bailey Ryan, the CEO of PlantHouse, writes on the company’s website. “We, as the PlantHouse family, think of it as seeing it in your homes! We love seeing the different ways our customers style our plants and the many different pairings you make with our ceramics. Our mission is to guide customers through every step of the PlantHouse experience. That includes finding the perfect match to represent your personal style!”

Ryan did not comment on PlantHouse’s plans to grow its footprint with a Decatur location when reached by WNA earlier this week, but President Ted Davis confirmed the news writing, “as you can imagine, we are very excited but very busy getting ready for Decatur…”
