A building permit application has been filed with the City of Atlanta for The Neon Leaf. The new restaurant and catering kitchen is planning to open at 2695 Browns Mill Rd SE.

The permit was filed by Esbertha Lewis who is listed as property purchaser and owner. According to plans, “indoor alterations” will be completed to create a restaurant and catering kitchen. An estimated construction cost of $325,000 is attached to the project.
Lewis, better known as Bea than Esbertha, is the owner of Atlanta Meal Prep, a food delivery service that operates out of The Peach shopping mall at 2870 Peachtree Rd. She is also the founder of popular supper series Hush Dinner Club. In 2019, Lewis announced plans to open a modern American, diner-inspired restaurant called “Concept,” but it has not yet materialized.
According to its website, Atlanta Meal Prep delivers fresh, local and healthy meals inside the Atlanta Perimeter. Guests are able to either choose their own meals or select from a predefined list of meals. The weekly menus are developed from seasonal ingredients and the recipes are constantly changing to provide guests with variety in their meal plan.
Meal options offered include Paleo, gluten-free, 1200 calorie, high protein diet, vegan/vegetarian, keto, breakfast, snacks and more. Predefined dishes include Coconut and Lemongrass Shredded Beef, Harissa and Honey Roasted Chicken Breast, Cranberry Pecan Chicken Breast Salad and more.
