Justin Amick, CEO of Painted Hospitality — The Painted Pin, The Painted Duck, and upcoming Painted Park — and business partner William Stallworth, are working on a new pickleball concept, a spokesperson for the growing hospitality company this weekend told What Now Atlanta.
The “one-of-a-kind eatertainment concept” — yes, eatertainment — will be called Painted Pickle.
The new project will be centered around pickleball, a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, table tennis, and badminton. Pickleball is “one of the fastest-growing recreational sports in the nation,” the spokesperson said.
“Painted Pickle will be Atlanta’s premier pickleball destination located intown in a versatile, indoor/outdoor, industrial warehouse space with high-quality food and beverage offerings, deluxe design and amenities, leisurely activities, and more undisclosed surprise details to come.”
It’s unclear where exactly the Painted Pickle will be housed, and aside from the teaser above, the spokesperson would not reveal any additional details about the location. The website domain “PaintedPickle.com” was registered by a representative for the company on August 20, and is simply “parked” by its host GoDaddy.
Painted Park, the third venture by Painted Hospitality, is coming soon to space that used to be home to Brasserie and Neighborhood Cafe at Parish. An update for the opening was not provided.

Excited when you see in “The Works” but realize it’s not actually the mixed use development called “The Works”. Unnecessary joy wasted. Lol

Why is this happening everywhere but Los Angeles?!!! I don’t have the money to open a Painted Pickle or a Chicken & Pickle but I am a believer. We need this kind of facility in L.A. So sick and tired of telling folks about the concept only to have it catching on every place but my home town! So sad. I know hundreds of die hard picklers such as myself who would go crazy for a place like this in their own back yard. PLEASE bring your mad enterprise skills here. We have tons of crappy warehouses just screaming to be made into courts. If you build it, they will come. Seriously. Even the goofy hipsters want a cool place to play and hang out. Keeping my fingers crossed that this is going to happen…soon!
