“We’re honored to open a fourth Atlanta office in such a historical area that is known for their community-centered thinking and emphasizes Atlanta’s unique history and culture,” Mike Fité, MD, district medical director of One Medical in Atlanta, said in a statement. “With so much preventative care deferred due to the pandemic over the past year, we’re looking forward to having another convenient place for people to come take care of their health and wellness.”

One Medical is a membership-based primary care organization. Members can reserve appointments with primary care providers in-office or online through the company’s website and app — including same-day visits and on-demand virtual video consultations, available 24/7 — and can visit any of the company’s more than 100 locations across the country. Memberships cost $199, though many companies are offering them as part of their employee benefits.

The Ponce City location of One Medical offers full lab services in addition to physical and mental health check-ins, annual wellness visits, vaccinations and chronic illness management. Members can also make appointments for COVID-19 PCR and antibody tests. One Medical is digitally integrated with Emory Healthcare Network, through which it provides seamless referrals to specialty care services.

In addition to its new office in Ponce City, One Medical plans to open a Perimeter location later this year.
