“Omakase,” which means in Japanese, “I’ll leave it up to you,” is a style of dining where the diners place their trust in the chef to put together a set course meal with minimal or no input from the diners. Several times each week, NoriFish gets the highest quality fish flown in directly from the world-famous Toyosu Fish Market in Tokyo for its unique omakase offering, which comes in three sizes: Petite (9 items), Standard (12 items), and Premium (17 items).

While most sushi restaurants typically offer omakase only at the bar, omakase is available throughout the dining room at NoriFish.

“It is my honor and duty to create the perfect harmony of items based on the availability of the freshest ingredients and the best selection of fish, to give our guests the most memorable sushi experience possible,” Park, a sushi veteran from Los Angeles with over 20 years of training and experience in sushi and Japanese cuisine, said in a press release. “I want to offer that experience to everyone who walks into our restaurant, whether they are sitting at the sushi bar with me or at a table with their friends and family.”

NoriFish marries the tradition of omakase-style sushi dining with modern flavors, with unique items such as wild yellowtail sushi with yuzu ponzu, Serrano chili, and blood orange; or striped jack sushi with nikiri, pecorino Romano, and lime. Other seasonings and toppings for sushi include honey wasabi aioli, orange zest, truffle salt, garlic chip, and nori dust. Sturgeon caviar is available as an add-on across numerous dishes. NoriFish will also offer a curated selection of Japanese craft beers and premium sake.

NoriFish is located at 1115 Springwood Connector, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. It is currently open only for dinner, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

  1. Their food looks amazing. I looked on the website. The prices are very reasonable, and they also have a large variety of other dishes in addition to the different Omakase. I think all this should be in the review. This restaurant is not just for the wealthy patrons, regular folks can enjoy the experience too.
