They won’t be able to spend Cinco De Mayo there, but residents of Buckhead will otherwise be happy to hear Superica will open early this summer.

What Now Atlanta discovered the opening date through a job post on Craigslist which announces that the restaurant will open May 23Valerie Failla Mosley, PR & Sales Director at Ford Fry Restaurants told WNA in an email Monday that the date may change.

The “Mex-Tex” eatery will be situated in the Buckhead Court shopping center at 3850 Roswell Road in a converted Outback Steakhouse, as WNA first reported in May of last year.

Ford Fry, the restauranteur behind JCT. Kitchen, No. 246, The Optimist, King + Duke, St. Cecilia, Marcel Steakhouse, and The El Felix, opened the original Superica in Inman Park’s Krog Street Market project in early 2015.
