The sports bar, at 360 Pharr Road, announced it was under new management on its Facebook page July 31.

“New venue, new management, new staff and new menu,” the sports bar posted to its Facebook page.

Kennesaw-based Olde Towne first opened its Pharr Road location in January 2012. It replaced Saskatoon restaurant which shuttered in September 2010.

Olde Towne has removed the Buckhead location from its website.

Tavern 360 was not immediately available for comment.

  1. I work a couple blocks from that spot. Would love a new good lunch place. We went to Olde Towne once in a large group, but weren’t too impressed with the food and especially the slow service. Maybe the new management will figure out something that Tib’s, Spondivit’s, Bissett’s, Saskatoon, and Olde Towne have not. I won’t hold my breath, but I’ll give it a try.

  2. This place has only been open 5 months and they’re already making all these changes? Absolutely crazy. At least wait until the end of the football season. You’ve got to give things a chance to work if business is slow. 5 months isn’t enough time at all. Someone needs to take a chill pill.

  3. That would explain some of the changes I’ve seen recently like the elimination of their valet parking (totally unecessary for a bar in that location).

  4. did he really think his concept is so much better than the 5 previous concepts that all failed in record time. Whoever made this real estate decision needs to be fired.

  5. Tried “Olde Towne” three different times for lunch, and it was good, then fair, then horrible. Blue Moon right down the street is really hopping at lunch, so the neighborhood obviously is viable. Then there’s poor little East Paces Tavern. Walked in, turned around and walked right out…

  6. I live across the street from East Paces Tavern, the people running it don’t even know they are running a restaurant.

  7. SAME owner only NEW management? Any owner offering this pathetic & insulting offering couldn’t possibly ever make things right.

  8. just visited this “new” tavern 360 the food was bad the service was worse. hedging my bet it will last 6 more months before it shudders the doors.
