Octane shares the space in The Jane, at 437 Memorial Drive, with The Little Tart Bakeshop.

“We should have some info very soon on a better timeline for roasting in Atlanta,” Tony Riffel, Octane’s co-owner, told What Now Atlanta in an email Monday. “Waiting on a couple of permitting questions.”

Riffel this week filed a building permit application with City of Atlanta to buildout the “non-public” 1,132-square-foot roastery.

Currently, Octane roasts its beans out of Homewood, Alabama, at 2821 Central Avenue. The coffee house has Atlanta locations in West Midtown, Buckhead, and Grant Park.
