Plans last week were filed for the new restaurant in the Container Store-anchored shopping center.
Nova Sushi Bar & Asian Bistro, a new concept from Danny Chen, is slated to open in the Buckhead Triangle Shopping Center.
Plans last week were filed with City of Atlanta to convert Suite D1, a 2,590-square-foot space, into the restaurant with an estimated $180,000 in construction costs.
Work to the space would include items like updating the floor and tile, painting, adding a new cashier counter and restroom, and exterior alterations (new storefront doors), according to the plans.
Several representatives from Selig Enterprises, Buckhead Triangle’s developer, confirmed in an email to What Now Atlanta (WNA) last week Nova Sushi Bar would be opening in the development.
The restaurant, at 3637 Peachtree Road, would be situated between HH Greg and FedEx Office in space formerly occupied by Dr. Tattoff (tattoo removal clinic), according to the Buckhead Triangle site plan.
Chen did not return WNA’s request for comment.
