Construction documents indicate that the takeout cake shop is going into a space at Charles Hight Square, a Publix-anchored shopping center in Rome. The shop would be about 1,900 square feet, according to the plans, and located next to an AT&T store.
The shop comes from Missy Moon, an experienced Nothing Bundt Cakes franchisee who operates several other locations in Georgia.
Gary Woodward of JLL (@wolfofpeachstreet on Instagram) helped secure the space on behalf of Moon.
Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz founded Nothing Bundt Cakes in Las Vegas in 1997. The company has since grown to more than 500 locations across the U.S. and in Canada. Offerings include bundt cakes in a variety of sizes and flavors, including lemon, confetti, red velvet and more. The brand also sells party supplies, decor and gifts.
What Now Atlanta previously reported on planned Nothing Bundt Cakes locations in Sharpsburg and Covington.
