North Italia welcomes its second Georgia location, following an opening earlier this summer in Buckhead, bringing its modern approach to classic Italian dishes and specialty crafted cocktails to Dunwoody next to Perimeter Mall. Officially opened on Wednesday, Aug. 17, North Italia Perimeter has wrap-around windows offering panoramic views from the dining room as well as a covered patio for outdoor dining with family and friends, and incorporates North Italia’s artwork both inside and around the exterior space.
Creating an abstract play on grapes, vines and flowing leaves, and painted by local Atlanta artist, Lela Brunet, an outdoor mural acts as a visual focal point for diners on North Italia’s patio while faux-neon art adds a splash of color to the dining space.
Under the leadership of General Manager Candyce Forrester and guided by Executive Chef LaQuan Bailey, North Italia Perimeter will dish up North Italia’s dinner selections, including hand-stretched pizzas and freshly made pasta dishes, brunch specialties like breakfast carbonara pasta and short rib hash, and happy hour bites of arancini and white truffle garlic bread. Along with an expansive wine list, the bar boasts a wide variety of local beers, a selection of spirit-free beverages and tasty cocktails, highlighting favorites such as the Pomegranate Mule, Sicilian Margarita and the Il Versace, made exclusively for the Atlanta market. To celebrate the summer, a special Georgia Peach Tea cocktail is also available, only in Atlanta, as a part of North Italia Summer Sips program through September 22.
Diners are invited to make reservations for brunch, lunch and dinner through Open Table. And, as a part of opening celebrations, North Italia Perimeter hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in partnership with the City of Dunwoody on Monday, August 22 at 10 a.m. where all were invited to join city officials in officially welcoming the restaurant into the community.
