The family-run joint has been serving authentic New Orleans-style seafood ever since it first opened in 2019.

Beginning as a pop-up on 1683 Sylvan Road, Mama Jane gained immense popularity for its delicacies like shrimp, crawfish and crab boils, all served by the pound with sausages, potatoes, and corn.

Soon they are moving to a new place, just a couple of blocks south at 1996 Sylvan Road. With a new sign, painted in bright yellow and red colors that proudly says “Mama Jane Seafood”, they are set to have a grand opening very soon.

The property in Sylvan Plaza is owned by Barett Symone Property Managers. Owner Leon Blue, who did not respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment, has been running the small business since 2019 and only recently rented the new place to open up their restaurant.
