NIC+ZOE is coming to Avenue East Cobb in a 1,200-square-foot space near Kendra Scott.

NIC+ZOE was founded in 2006 by Dorian Lightbown, a designer with more than 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. The Massachusetts-based brand is named after Lightbown’s two children. The company has 12 storefronts across the U.S., with one also in the works in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.

Offerings include sweaters, jackets, dresses, pants, accessories and more. The brand aims to offer clothes with “inventive textures and patterns to create pieces that are both chic and comfortable.”

NIC+ZOE is expected to open at the Marietta mall before the holidays.

Giulia is one of several new tenants recently announced for Avenue East Cobb, along with luxury bedding store Boll & Branch, the Italian bakery Giulia, a new Italian eatery from the Giulia owners called Luga, and Japanese restaurant Tenku Sushi Elevation.

Avenue East Cobb is a 30-acre development in Marietta. It originally opened in 1999. In July 2021, North American Properties (NAP) entered a joint venture partnership with the development’s owner PGIM Real Estate to revamp the shopping, dining and entertainment center. NAP launched redevelopment in August 2022 and completed it in a year, debuting the revitalized destination in September 2023.

“It’s been such an exciting journey introducing new retailers, restaurants and entertainment to the East Cobb community – and it’s only going to get better,” Avenue East Cobb marketing manager Madison Murphy said in a statement. “There’s nothing we love more than creating memorable guest experiences, and these additions will certainly help us do that.”
