American actor, rapper, musician, producer, television host, radio personality, and activist Nick Cannon at 10 p.m. on opening night will spin a DJ set, according to an advertisement on the company’s website.

Once open, Sugar Factory, first announced by What Now Atlanta in 2018, will include a full-service café and confectionary shop, retail store, indoor and outdoor dining areas, two full-service bars, a private dining room, and a one-of-a-kind Gummy Bears Chandelier over the main dining room.

It replaces Mi Cocina in the 12th & Midtown development across from the Loews Hotel.

“Sugar Factory is all about celebrating the sweetest moments in life,” Charissa Davidovici, owner of Sugar Factory, Wednesday said in a press release.

“We want to create a fun, unforgettable dining experience for any age, at every location. We are all about treasuring family fun and are looking forward to welcoming the Atlanta community to our newest restaurant.”

Sugar Factory’s retail confectionary will feature a floor-to-ceiling candy wall with more than 500 types of sweet treats, including a selection of novelty and bulk candy like the brand’s “Couture Pops.”

The café will offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, rainbow doughnuts, and pastries, in addition to homemade gelato and ice cream.

The dining room will seat more than 200 guests, with an additional 60 seats in the outdoor dining area.

Sugar Factory’s menu features signature items such as crepes, salads, burgers, milkshakes, and specialty pizzas.

Desserts include the King Kong Sundae, serving up to 12 people with 24 scoops of ice cream covered with sprinkles, gummy bears, caramel sauce, fudge sauce, and giant swirly pops, to name a few.

The restaurant’s white marble bar seats 12 guests and provides full-menu service complete with Sugar Factory’s signature 64 oz. alcohol-infused smoking candy goblets like the Lollipop Passion, garnished with lollipops and candy necklaces.

The outdoor dining area has a 12-seat patio bar overlooking 12th Street.

Sugar Factory will be open daily serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Weekend brunch available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
