Nexus VR, the region’s “most advanced [virtual reality] experience center,” is nearing its opening in Duluth.

The VR arcade is under construction, at 3547 Peachtree Industrial Blvd.

It will soft-open May 16, Co-Founder Mike Hillyer told What Now Atlanta in an email this week.

Hillyer got the company’s Certificate of Occupancy Friday.

Nexus VR has at least 37 experiences to choose from and the space can be rented for private events, according to its website.

Eagle Flight uses “innovative and intuitive controls” to allow the user to “perform impressive aerial maneuvers in the blink of an eye.”

World of Diving is a “multiplayer online game that brings you an exhilarating underwater adventure.”

Now through Monday, May 13, Nexus VR is giving away 50 one-hour sessions (click here for a chance to win.)
