Fast casual Atlanta-born brand gusto! is continuing its expansion across Georgia, this week announcing its newest location is planned for Sharpsburg, a growing suburb just south of Atlanta.
Located on the southwest corner of Highway 54 and Fischer Road, the brand’s 13th shop will open in the new Publix-anchored Fischer Marketplace in early 2023, boasting a drive-thru lane and patio with operable garage doors.
“gusto! is seeing the undeniable synergistic value of grocery-anchored centers,” according to a press release. “Both the Tucker and Sharpsburg shops will open drive-thrus in Publix-anchored centers, a brand that gusto! founder and CEO Nate Hybl admires for its emphasis on innovation and guest services.”
“Since our earliest years, we received a lot of interest from Peachtree City and Sharpsburg residents for a gusto! in the area,” Hybl said. “This part of town is flourishing — it’s a great place to live and call home and the highways passing on both sides of the new shop are highly trafficked. We’re really looking forward to opening in this shopping center alongside like-minded brands we admire, like Publix and Black Rifle Coffee, and introducing our innovative value-proposition to these communities.”
gusto! Sharpsburg will add to the brand’s growing portfolio of drive-thru models. “The drive-thru will continue to be a big part of our future as we look to disrupt typical fast food with a new experience: where fresh and colorful meets friendly and fast,” said Director of Operations Richmond Green.
The announcement of gusto! Sharpsburg comes on the heels of exciting milestones for the brand. Earlier this year, gusto! opened in Downtown Atlanta and Athens, Georgia, its first location outside of the Atlanta area and marking the company’s tenth shop since its inception in 2014. Additionally, the brand is adding two more drive-thru restaurants planned in Tucker and Buford.
gusto!’s menu offers bowls and wraps that start with a base, protein and “gusto,” or signature flavor profile. “From the tangy Buffalo Buttermilk Blue to the seasonal Harissa Lemon Tabbouleh, the gusto! team has mastered the bowl- and wrap-making science, delivering meals in 30 seconds or less.”
