Cactus House, a new taqueria concept, could soon open near Piedmont Park.
The Mexican restaurant has secured space in the Azure on the Park residential project, at 1020 Piedmont Ave NE, according to a Facebook page for Cactus House.
“Cactus House is coming to Midtown soon. We will be serving up fresh, natural, and upscale street style tacos right on the park,” the restaurant in a Facebook post earlier this week said.
“Coming Soon” signage is also up at Azure on the Park and a password-protected website for the restaurant is live.
Cactus house is a “collaboration of four business partners” that “started with our love for tacos and casual sophistication,” according to the Facebook page’s about section. “Our goal is to be the family friendly neighborhood hangout spot.”
Azure on The Park and Cactus House representatives were not immediately available for comment.

This was an awesome experience. Everyone was so pleasant and seemed excited. Loved the variety of tacos. Guac was delicious . Margaritas are really good. I will be back soon.
