According to a press release announcement, SENSU Sushi Restaurant & Bar will open this winter at Town Centre at Trilith — a planned community in Fayetteville that features a collection of retail, restaurants and apartment homes.
Created by renowned chef to the stars, Alvin Dayrit, guests can expect to be served chef-curated sushi meals in a modern, exclusive and comfortable atmosphere. Sushi bar seating will be included and a full beverage bar will be available both in the dining room and out on the patio.
Dayrit is known for providing on-set catering to some of the world’s most renowned movie stars and major film productions, including those with zombies and superheroes. He got his start in the restaurant industry at Su-shin Japanese Restaurant in Miami at age 19 where he learned how to cook rice, make sushi rolls, fillet fish and other skills needed to perfect his craft. Over the years, he perfected his cooking craft at several other well-known Japanese restaurants.
He lead the culinary team at Peachtree City’s Ginza, a Japanese cuisine and sushi restaurant, which has since closed.
“I have made sushi for over 15 years for various production companies, and I am grateful for their support,” Dayrit said in a statement. “I want to bring a new experience to Trilith that extends beyond traditional Japanese cuisine, and this is the perfect setting in which to do that. We are excited to be here and look forward to welcoming guests.”
SENSU’s menu will offer a unique variety of exotic foods from Faroe Island, Prince Edward Island and other destinations around the globe.
Rob Parker, president of the Town at Trilith, praised Dayrit’s culinary talent, saying he is “an ideal addition to Town Centre as we endeavor to curate one of the best dining districts in the south. SENSU complements a diverse offering of top-quality dining options available to our residents and visitors.”
SENSU will join such establishments as Honeysuckle Gelato, Amici Italian Café, and Barleygarden Kitchen and Craft Bar.
