A new seafood restaurant is planned for southwest Atlanta.
The Salted Fork Kitchen & Cocktails is proposed for 2298 Cascade Road SW, according to a liquor license application.
The Salted Fork is described as “bringing the ocean’s finest to your plate.”
According to the application, the restaurant would be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. There is expected to be seating for 45 people, along with a 12-seat bar. Food sales are expected to be responsible for 65 percent of revenue, with the remaining 35 percent of revenue coming from alcohol sales.
The space is located in a one-story commercial building with tenants like Big Daddy’s Cafe and Dream Wings. The Salted Fork is planned for the space formerly occupied by a restaurant called Top Louisiana Seafood.
